Power of Open Source and Android – Run Android Apps on iOS

I came across this post on engadget that really illustrates the potential of FOSS. It opens up a world of infinite possibilities. This is one of the main reasons for which I love Android more than iOS or Windows Phone. In the two latter cases, you cannot go beyond a certain limit due to the ‘closed source’ ness of these mobile operating systems. Even though Android too isn’t completely open sourced, it still beats the latter operating systems. The things you can do with an Android device are infinite.

This link shows how Android apps are being run on an iPad.

iPhone 4S finally goes on sale

Apple iPhone 4s

After a long wait filled with curiosity and anxiousness, iphone 4S is finally hitting stores in the US and six other countries. Another unique feature that iphone 4s really owes to, for increasing the sales is that the phone is available in not one, but three wireless operators namely AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. With the preorders hitting records, I really can’t wait to see how well the iPhone does in sales.

Many people consider buying this phone as a tribute to Steve Jobs, whose innovative and visionary mind drove Apple to where it stands today. So now not only are the people feature and style driven, but emotionally driven as well towards the latest iOS device.
