Android now owns 39% of smartphone market

Seems like Android is the top smartphone operating system in the US while it can be seen that the significance of RIM is decreasing.

It can be seen from above that HTC is the leader among the android smartphone producers while Motorola is closing in. But with the samsung galaxy s2 and the new galaxy tab 10.1, I’m quite sure that samsung will soon take itself to the top. However the news of Blackberry OS 7 is not generating the appropriate response from the public as expected.

While people all around US are gripping on their savings and waiting for the iphone5 release scheduled in September, lets see how these statistics come out be in the later half of this year.

Cheerz 🙂
